Just Released - The Caruso MCP Server

Today we're releasing the Caruso MCP server, so your team can ask ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft 365 Copilot about your funds and get answers from your live Caruso data.

Plenty of questions about a fund still start with a report. Someone runs it, exports it and works through it in a spreadsheet to get to the answer they need.

More of that work now happens in AI apps like ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft 365 Copilot, but until now those apps couldn't see your fund data. The Caruso MCP server connects them, read only and limited to what each person's role can already see.

Ask ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot About Your Funds

Connect ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft 365 Copilot to your Caruso organisation and ask questions of your live data, such as an investor's holdings on 30 June or a fund's distributions last quarter. Then work with the answer in the AI app however you like, whether that's a summary, a chart or a first draft of a board note.

• Connect in minutes. Add Caruso as a connector in your AI app, sign in and approve a consent page that lists exactly which records it can read.
• Read only, role limited. The app reads contacts, investing entities, funds, unit classes, holdings, transactions, distributions, capital raises, orders, tasks, advisers, adviser firms and document details where your role allows, however it can't create, change or delete anything.
• KYC data only if you opt in. Related parties and KYC check results are a separate permission you grant on the consent page, and each connection shows whether it includes them.
• Review and disconnect in Settings. MCP Connections lists every connected app with when it connected, when it was last active and its end date, and you can disconnect any of them in one step.

MCP, short for Model Context Protocol, is the open standard AI apps use to connect to other systems.
