Just Released - Two New Dashboards, the Automations Page & More

This release adds two dashboards that show how big your book is and how your team is working it, and a refreshed Automations page that shows your Background Agents at work. It also brings improvements across distribution statements, reports, capital raises and KYC.
See Your Book and Your Team's Work on Two New Dashboards
Knowing how the business is tracking has meant pulling figures from a dozen tables, or from a spreadsheet someone keeps by hand. Two new dashboards under Home > Dashboards now answer both questions on one screen, alongside the Capital Raise Status dashboard released earlier this month.
- Overview: the book at a glance. Equity under management, investors and distributions paid this year sit at the top, followed by how that equity splits across your funds, how much sits with your top 10 investors and which investing entities hold the most.
- Business Activity: the work behind the book. Every email, call and meeting your team logs counts as a touchpoint. The dashboard shows how many contacts those touchpoints reached, how activity has trended and who on the team is doing the work, for any period you choose.
- Ready to share. Download either dashboard as a PDF with your logo, the filters applied and an as-at time for the data.
Both dashboards draw on the records your team already keeps in Caruso's investor CRM, so there is no spreadsheet to update before a board meeting or a Monday catch-up.
The Automations Page Now Shows Your Agents at Work

Once Background Agents are running, your team needs to see what they are doing without digging through records. The Automations page now leads with the runs in progress, then each agent and when it last ran, then everything they did, week by week.
- Running now, at the top. A live count sits beside the heading, and each run shows its agent, its trigger and a progress bar until it finishes.
- A weekly history of agent work. See how many times each agent ran in each week, and click any agent to see those runs.
- Dig into any run. Open a run in a side panel to see what the agent did, including what went wrong if it failed.
The Automations page is available to admins whose role includes read access to Background Agents, which Super Admins have by default.
Your team can check what agents have handled, and pick up anything that needs a person, from one page. If you are new to them, Background Agents take on routine fund admin work when an event happens, within the rules and actions you approve.
Improvements & Refinements
This release also includes the following improvements:
- Tags on tasks - Tag tasks from the task header or in bulk from the Tasks list, then filter by tag on the Tasks list and on each record's Tasks tab, so you can flag incidents or group work by business unit.
- Tags on batches - Tag redemption, issuance, distribution and adviser payment batches, then filter and bulk tag them from the Batches tables.
- KYC checks on demand - Run a PEP and sanctions check or an address check from a related party's KYC tab whenever you need one, and see at a glance when an ID document has expired.
- Units held and rate per unit on distribution statements - Every payment on a distribution statement shows the units held and the rate that holding received, with a note when it was invested for part of the period, and a unit class rate can be set as annual cents per unit on a 30/360 basis.
- Create your own API keys - Admins create personal API keys in Settings with an expiry of 7, 30 or 90 days, a year or a custom date, with created, expires and last used dates and a one-step revoke.
- Faster funds and capital raises tables - Both tables now load quickly at any size, and you can filter capital raises by status and fund.
- Contacts for every organisation, with a Professional type - The Contacts view now replaces Accounts and Prospects for everyone, and Professional joins Investor and Adviser as a contact type for accountants, lawyers and other intermediaries.
- Revert redemptions in bulk - Move several approved redemption orders back to Requested in one step, without notifying investors.
- Joint accounts with their own legal name - Give a Joint Individual investing entity a legal name for statements and legal documents, in place of its two individuals' names.
- Capital raise controls - Filter and sort applications by payment date, move an expression of interest to Application Submitted when you link its application, and write additional content blocks of up to 10,000 characters.
- Adviser details in reports - The Holdings, Holding Movements, Applications and Book Build workbooks now carry Adviser ID, Adviser Name and Adviser Firm, with the firm as at each row's date.
