Just Released - Adviser CRM, Data Room Controls & More

This release delivers two new capabilities for fund managers, alongside a set of registry, compliance, and reporting refinements. A dedicated adviser CRM brings financial advisers, their firms, and licensees into the platform as first-class records, and expanded data room access controls give managers finer control over who can see a capital raise.
A Dedicated CRM for Advisers, Firms, and Licensees
Adviser details have long lived outside the system of record, in spreadsheets or free-text notes, with no structured link between an adviser and the entities they act for. Caruso now has a dedicated CRM layer for financial advisers and the firms and licensees they operate under, the foundation for managing adviser relationships, fees, and payments across your funds. It sits alongside the investor CRM records teams already use.
- A complete adviser hierarchy. Model the full intermediary chain as first-class records: the Licensee (the licensed AFSL holder), the Adviser Firm (the advisory practice), and individual advisers, each with its own list view, detail view, and create flow in the Admin App.
- Adviser profiles on accounts. Enable an adviser profile on any account to capture their representative number, adviser code, and the firm they act under. An account can be both an investor and an adviser at the same time.
- Fast adviser lookup. Licensees and adviser firms appear in the CRM sidebar and global search, and the Accounts table flags which accounts are advisers.
- The groundwork for adviser servicing. This data model underpins the adviser capabilities Caruso is building next: fee configuration, distribution fee withholding, payment processing, and adviser statements.
- Bulk applications on the investor portal. Advisers can apply in bulk for all investing entities they have access to, removing repeat form entry when submitting applications for multiple entities.
This initial release supports Australian-registered advisers only, with support for further regions on the way.
More Granular Data Room Access Controls

Data rooms control what prospective investors see during a capital raise, but access has often been all-or-nothing. This release adds two more granular controls, set directly on the offer's visibility settings.
- Restrict access by country. Share a data room only with investing entities registered in the countries you choose, set on the visibility dropdown.
- Restricted accounts list. Block specific accounts from accessing a data room even when they would otherwise be eligible, preventing re-applications from investors who failed criteria such as a Target Market Determination in an earlier application.
- Built for cross-border raises. Combine country rules and the restricted accounts list to keep an offer visible only where it is eligible, without separate offer records per jurisdiction or manual eligibility checks.
- Set once per raise. Configure access controls on the offer's visibility settings and they apply across the raise.
Improvements and Fixes
This release also includes the following improvements:
- Custom fields extended across CRM and adviser records - Custom fields now cover Accounts, Prospects, Adviser Profiles, Adviser Firms, and Adviser Licence Holders, building on investing entity and related party support that is now also available via the Admin App API.
- Two-step review on the portal redemption flow - Investors now see a read-only summary before confirming and must accept terms and conditions on the confirm step, matching the allocation request flow and cutting accidental submissions.
- Improved Orders tables - Every Orders table gains an Issued No. Units column for comparing issued against requested units, and the Tags column now sits beside Status.
- New pre-filtered tabs on the fund page - The fund Distributions tab is now Distribution Batches, with a new Distributions tab for individual payments and a new Transactions tab, each pre-filtered to the fund.
- Date of Payment on distributions tables - Transaction Date is now Date of Payment, with new Paid From, Paid To, and Batch columns so admins can see distribution periods and navigate to the parent batch.
- Relationship column on the Related Parties table - Admins can see each related party's relationship types, such as Director, Member, or Beneficiary, at a glance without opening individual records.
- Fixed: All Holdings report on large tenants - The report no longer fails to download on large tenants. Generation is now asynchronous with progress tracking.
- Fixed: Annual CPU rate in the summary PDF - The Annual CPU rate no longer shows as a dash in the Distribution Calculation Summary PDF.
