Just Released - Customisable Statement Footers, Reinvestment Pricing & More

Statements Footer Editor on Caruso

Investor trust is built in small details done precisely: the wording at the foot of a statement, the price at which reinvested units are issued. This release puts both directly in your team's hands, with settings you own and can audit, alongside workflow improvements across distributions, reporting and the investor portal.

Customisable Statement Footers

Every statement, notice and tax document Caruso generates ends with a footer, and that is where investors find the legal disclaimers, the fund's registration details and the contact information they need. This release puts that wording directly in your hands, with granular, self-service control over exactly what appears on every document Caruso generates.

  • Every document footer, self-service: A new Statement Footers section in settings lets you edit the footer for each of the five document categories: payment and order notices, investing entity statements, holding statements, tax statements and regulatory statements. Wording changes now take a minute.
  • Your disclaimer and your contact block: Each footer pairs a disclaimer with a contact-info block, supporting bold text and your own line layout, so the exact wording on every generated document is yours.
  • One footer that fits every fund: Merge tokens fill in per-fund detail automatically, including fund legal name, registration and scheme numbers, trustee and manager identifiers, and your support email, so a single footer per category renders correctly across Caruso's unit registry with no per-fund copies to maintain.
  • See it before your investors do: A live preview rendered with sample data shows the real output as you type, at true PDF width, wrapping and font sizes.
  • Reset with confidence: Each footer can be individually reset to Caruso's standard wording at any time.

Every statement, notice and tax document generated through the Statements Module resolves to exactly one of the five footers, so your wording stays consistent everywhere. The same self-service control is coming to the footers on system emails next, with a live preview and merge tokens, and a fixed compliance block keeping the required disclosures and unsubscribe link guaranteed on every email.

Reinvestment Pricing for Distributions

Reinvestment for distribution in Caruso

When a distribution reinvests, new units are issued at a set price, and that price determines how many units each investor receives. With this release, your team sets that price directly: each unit class can carry its own dedicated reinvestment pricing set, so every distribution reinvestment plan is priced by a deliberate, auditable decision your team controls.

  • A dedicated reinvestment price: Each unit class now carries its own Reinvestment Price table alongside unit value, issuance and redemption prices, so reinvested units issue at a price your team strikes deliberately.
  • Priced at the date you choose: Each distribution takes a reinvestment price date, and reinvested units issue at the price struck for that date.
  • Guard-railed confirmation: If the class price changes after drafting, an alert prompts a recalculation before you can confirm, and the confirm step shows the Reinvestment Price and Date of Issuance in plain sight.
  • Consistent end to end: The price flows through the draft preview, the Distribution Reinvestment Report and investor-facing statements, so everyone reconciles against the same number.

Improvements & Refinements

This release also includes the following improvements:

  • Portal downloads investors can recognise - Documents downloaded from the investor portal now save with the document name instead of a system-generated filename.
  • Confirmation emails for verified bank accounts - Admins can now notify investors by email when verifying a bank account, mirroring the existing decline notification.
  • Email investors without publishing to the portal - The publish-to-portal and send-email toggles on distribution confirmation are now independent.
  • Search the distribution holdings summary - Search by entity name, holding ID or entity ID, and filter by distribution setting and reinvestment status.
  • Richer Holding Summary Statements - The distributions section now shows record date, units at record date and the APIR code where present, and Date is renamed Payment Date.
  • Reports built for reconciliation and audit - The All Investing Entities CSV gains a Post Preferences column, and the redemption batch audit file gains three compliance-date columns (Redemption Bank Account Last Changed Date, Last Unit Issuance Date and Date of Initial Investment).
