Just Released - Bulk Redemption Processing, Webhooks & More

This release expands Caruso’s bulk processing capabilities on two fronts: end-to-end bulk redemption processing for operations teams, and bulk document downloads for investors on the portal. Real-time webhook notifications round out the headline features, giving developers a reliable way to keep connected systems in sync.
The update also includes a range of operational and admin improvements, including a transaction date filter across all Orders tables, new Principal and Accrued Interest tag types on the Investor Portal, a Capital Contributed progress bar on capital raise allocations, and quick “Open fund” actions on holding rows.
End-to-End Bulk Redemption Processing
Caruso’s unit registry now supports the full redemption lifecycle in bulk. Funds can run multiple redemption requests through a single coordinated flow, from request creation through to payment pack generation.
- Create in bulk. Generate redemption requests across multiple holdings in a single action from the Holdings table, instead of opening each holding individually.
- Flexible redemption amounts. Admins and investors can specify redemption requests by percentage, dollar amount, or unit count, whichever suits the request.
- Approve individually or in bulk. Move requests through a clear Requested to Approved to Processed lifecycle, one at a time or as a batch.
- Batch-process with scale-back and payment packs. Process approved requests together, apply scale-back where needed, and generate consolidated payment packs and Redemption Notices in one run.

Bulk Document Downloads on the Investor Portal

Investors and advisers can now select multiple documents from Caruso’s investor portal and download them as a single zip file in one action, eliminating the need to download files one by one. Files use clear, descriptive names so documents are easy to identify without opening each one.
Real-Time Webhook Notifications
Caruso can now push real-time notifications to your connected systems the moment something changes, removing the need to poll the API for updates and allowing downstream systems to react to fund events as they happen.
- Subscribe to the events you care about. Choose from a broad event catalogue covering investors, advisers, funds, unit classes and prices, holdings, allocations, redemptions, transfers, and distribution payments, or subscribe to all events.
- Signed, minimal payloads. Every delivery is an HMAC-SHA256 signed POST containing what changed and the resource ID, so you can verify the source and re-query the Admin API for current state.
- Reliable delivery with retries. Failed deliveries are retried with exponential backoff, and persistently failing endpoints are automatically disabled so brief outages on your side will not cause event loss.
Improvements & Refinements
This release also includes the following improvements:
- Transaction tags for Principal and Accrued Interest – Investors can now filter transactions by these new tag types on the Investor Portal; admins see them on the Confirm Distribution flow and in investor, fund, and holding summary statements.
- Transaction Date filter on Orders – Admins can now filter by transaction date across all Orders tables, including global Orders, Fund Orders, and Investing Entity Orders.
- “Tags” renamed to “Classification” on transactions – System-defined transaction classifications are now clearly distinguished from user-configurable tags across Admin App and Investor Portal.
- Nature & Purpose now optional – Admins can skip the Nature & Purpose section when creating investing entities in Admin App, matching the investor portal behaviour.
- Capital Contributed progress bar – Admins can see at a glance how much capital has been contributed relative to committed on the capital raise allocations table.
- Account and Prospect columns in Book Build exports – Book Build CSV exports now include Account and Prospect columns on EOI rows, making investor records easier to identify.
- Quick “Open fund” actions on holding rows – The holding row context menu in Admin App now includes “Open fund” and “Open fund in new tab” options for faster navigation.
- Accreditation ID column on certificates list – Admin users can now reference unique IDs directly from the certificates list when raising certificate edit requests.
- Tags column repositioned across CRM tables – Tags now appears earlier in the Investing Entities, Accounts, and Related Parties tables in Admin App.
