Just Released - Task Management, Order Tags & More

This release sharpens the day-to-day mechanics of running a fund in the Admin App. Two updates lead it: a clearer view of tasks that traces every item back to the order that created it, and custom order tags that let teams categorise and action orders by whatever dimension matters to them. Together they give operations teams more control over the work in front of them and the data behind it.
A Clearer View of Tasks in the Admin App
The Admin App now gives operations teams a clearer view of their tasks, so it is easier to see what needs doing, act on it, and trace every task back to its source. The update builds on Caruso's task management capabilities and extends the task management foundations introduced earlier.
- Task counts at a glance - Summary cards on the task list show how many tasks are Open, In Progress, Overdue, and Completed, with click-to-filter drill-down into any group.
- Action tasks without leaving the page - The task detail view adds an "Action now" button on automatic tasks and "Mark as completed" on manual tasks, alongside a cleaner text-only menu.
- Context on every task - Notes and documents can now be attached to any task type, whatever its source.
- Traceability back to the order - System-generated tasks show a clickable link to the order that created them, in both the detail header and the tasks table.
- Across every order type - That originating-order link covers buy orders, sell orders, redemptions, and unit transfers.
Custom Order Tags for Categorising and Filtering

Caruso now lets teams create their own tags and apply them to orders, so orders can be categorised, filtered, and actioned by whatever dimension matters to the team.
- Tag any order type - Apply tags to applications, redemptions, transfers, and buy and sell orders, all drawing from one shared pool of order tags.
- Your tags, your taxonomy - Create and manage order tags from Settings with a name and colour, separate from the system Transaction Flags that Caruso applies automatically.
- Tag in bulk, across types - Select multiple orders, even a mix of redemptions, transfers, and applications, and apply a tag to all of them in a single action.
- Filter and find - Every orders table gains an Order Tags column and a tags filter, alongside new unit class and transaction flag filters, on the master, fund, and holding order views.
- Tags travel with your data - CSV exports of order tables now include a dedicated Order Tags column.
Other Improvements & Refinements
This release also includes the following improvements:
- "Show completed tasks" everywhere - Tasks tables get refined column widths and a meatball actions menu, and the "Show completed tasks" option is now available on every investing entity and account view.
- Tag overflow tooltip - Hovering the +N overflow badge now reveals the hidden tag names without opening the edit modal.
- Richer note record columns - The notes list now shows the time on Date Added, an audit-styled Last Modified By, and a new Last Modified column.
- Tighter investor portal permissions - Applications, account settings changes, and notification completion are now disabled for impersonated and read-only users.
- Clearer application confirmation validation - Admins now see specific messages for a missing unit class, issuance date, or reinvestment class instead of a generic failure.
- More flexible entity creation - Place of birth is now optional for individual entities, and document uploads are optional when creating Trust and Partnership entities in the Admin App.
- Longer task notes - The task note character limit now accepts up to 5,000 characters.
Alongside these, the release includes more than 20 further improvements and fixes across the platform.
