Just Released - Adviser Fees, Pre-send Previews & More

Adviser management just got easier. Caruso now supports the full adviser journey—from portal sign-up and client applications to configuring fees and paying multiple licensees in one batch.
Also in this release: preview investor emails before sending, get more from the Fund Admin Agent, and work faster with improvements across navigation, reporting and everyday workflows.
Advisers: From Sign-up to Fees Paid
The adviser CRM released earlier this year brought advisers, firms and licensees into Caruso as first-class records. Now, fee management and payments bring those capabilities together in one connected workflow.
- Adviser self-service. Advisers can view all client portfolios, manage applications and apply for multiple clients in bulk on the investor portal.
- Adviser CRM. Manage advisers, firms and licensees in one place, including their relationships and history.
- Flexible fee options. Configure upfront fees deducted at issuance or ongoing fees deducted from distributions.
- Bulk fee payments. Pay adviser fees to multiple licensees in one batch.
- Adviser details on documents. Include the adviser's details on statements and notices for linked holdings.
- Australian-ready, usable everywhere. Captures AFSL details for licensees and issues RCTI notices for Australia, with core adviser functionality available to clients in every region.

Preview Emails and Statements Before They Go Out
Sending an investor the wrong notice, or the right notice with the wrong data, is one of the few operational mistakes that cannot be corrected quietly. Caruso now lets you preview any investor email before it is sent, whether you are taking a one-off action such as confirming or cancelling an application, or working in a batch. In batches, you can preview each investor's email alongside the existing notice, using the recipient's real data.
Previews sit alongside the activity feed, which records what each investor received once the email has gone out. Across emails and statements, we have also added:
- Cover letters for statement batches. Add context such as quarterly performance now, with supporting attachments coming soon.
- Better-targeted emails in Communications. Email all investors in a recent redemption or distribution, with the relevant transaction data included automatically. More flexible segmentation is coming soon, for example all advisers or targeted lists based on investor attributes.
A Faster, More Capable Fund Admin Agent
The Fund Admin Agent is for fast answers to specific questions. For repeatable outputs, pre-built system reports do the job. This release improves both.
- A better agent experience. Start with continually improved, reusable prompts or ask your own questions. Search, pin and rename sessions, with stronger conversation recall and ongoing reliability improvements.
- Better pre-built reports. Everyday reports are being upgraded to formatted Excel workbooks with clear headers and separate tabs where relevant, releasing as each is ready.
Improvements & Refinements
This release also includes the following improvements:
- Easier Manager Console navigation - Clearer sections, one Add menu, and better search and filters make common tasks easier to find.
- One global table for every batch - Find redemption, unit issuance, distribution and adviser fee payment runs across all funds without opening each fund.
- Unread documents in the investor portal - Investors can see what is new, filter by read status and update multiple documents at once.
- Less sensitive information in investor communications - Holding IDs have been removed from investor emails and documents.
- Income and capital shown separately - Holding views and distribution files now show each separately.
- More ways to segment your book build - Sales teams can tag expressions of interest, filter the book and export results.
- A report for every bulk issuance - Download each batch's calculations, including issuance prices, contributed capital, adviser fees and allocations.
- Fund bank details on distribution summaries - Each summary includes the fund bank account name and masked number for every unit class, so finance can approve payments from one report.
- Stapling recorded correctly - Stapled transactions are labelled for investors and passed to adviser planning software as corporate actions.
